Extra-Low Noise Small DGBB (Deep Groove Ball Bearings)
Characteristics: Vibration grade V4 (lowest) or above; specially honed raceways; controlled steel ball waviness.
Advantages: Noise level <20 dB(A) at 1800 rpm vs. standard 35 dB(A). Lifetime in hearing aids, hard disk drives (HDD) extended by 2x because reduced vibration prevents false brinelling.
Technical Ceiling: Peak acceleration <0.5 mm/s²; random vibration level <0.1 µm displacement; maximum speed 100,000 rpm (miniature sizes).
Caution: Standard "quiet" bearings are not cleanroom compatible. Any misalignment >0.5 min of arc increases noise to standard levels. Do not use impact drivers for installation – use hydraulic press ONLY!
Extra Low Noise Small Deep Groove Ball Bearings (DGBB) are precision components specifically engineered for applications where acoustic performance and vibration control are critical. These bearings combine compact dimensions (typically bore diameters from 3 mm to 15 mm) with advanced manufacturing processes to achieve exceptionally low noise and smooth operation.
