Agricultural Bearings
Characteristics: Extra-thick raceways; triple-lip seals with heavy grease (NLGI #3); cast iron housings optional.
Advantages: 5x life in abrasive dust (soil, sand) vs. standard sealed bearings. Withstands 50g shock loads from rocks or harrowing. Operating temp range -30°C to +90°C.
Technical Ceiling: Seal wear life 3000h under dust load of 100 mg/m³; static load up to 80 kN (size 6208 equivalent); relubrication interval 500h.
Caution: Standard bearings’ rubber seals erode in 200h of tillage work. Do not use standard lithium grease – swaps to agricultural polyurea. Housing fits must be very loose (G7) to accommodate shaft bending.
